NH NeuroSpine Institute Welcomes Dr. Neal Luther to the Neurosurgery Department

New Hampshire NeuroSpine Institute (NHNSI) is pleased to announce the arrival of its newest member of the Neurosurgery department, Neal Luther, MD. Dr. Luther is now seeing patients in the Bedford office at 4 Hawthorne Drive. His expertise includes surgical and minimally-invasive radiosurgical treatment of brain and spine tumors and functional disorders including trigeminal neuralgia, Parkinson’s Disease, and tremors. He also specializes in minimally-invasive treatment for degenerative spinal disease and the management of chronic pain. 

Dr. Luther is an academically accomplished neurosurgeon dedicated to the highest quality and most current standard of care for his patients. He has written over thirty peer-reviewed journal articles, scientific meeting abstracts, and book chapters. He played an integral role in the development of a first-of-its-kind phase I clinical trial at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the New York Presbyterian hospital using stereotactic-guided catheters to directly infuse therapy for incurable brain tumors in children. He also has served as a neurosurgical consultant in concussion research with the New York Giants football team, and has had a significant concussion research study approved by the National Football League, and won an award for this work from the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
